Seminar Day.

So yesterday was a frantic day, with the second of our preview weekends at Tulleys and lots of changes and adjustments to make before opening the doors at 6PM.....Scream Park Productions were holding a seminar day on site..!!

Would it possible for me do a small session with them and talk about some technical aspects of running an event on this scale??? Was the question put to me..!!
Well to be fair this is not my thing at all, i am happy and willing to chat all day when posed with the right questions and in the right environment, usually involving a few pints of cold beer, this is way out of my comfort zone. I think i have found something that scares me at Halloween.!

So how long to talk for, how much information do you impart, is that too technical?? all questions i didn't have answers to, so with a keynote presentation created, the notes were re-written 3 times, it was time..!!

It was a new experience for me and i was a bit nervous to say the least but soon settled in to my stride, some good questions from the floor did help i must say. It all appeared to be well received and the other sessions throughout the day were excellent.
A full behind the screams tour for the delegates and an evening of enjoying the 6 attractions at Tulleys Farm led finally to a fairly informal Q & A session. This was to be fair a very productive session and some excellent feedback from the delegates, the likes, some great ideas and even some dislikes, but all very constructive.

This has been a great experience and also an excellent opportunity to catch up with some people i had not seen in a while. Great day.

Same again next year..?? We will see.
