Folkestone..and beyond..!!

Well the road trip has begun, made the train for the crossing with plenty of time to spare and managed to get the earlier one.
So loaded and locked handbrake on and park selected.....all good, the motor behind clearly felt he wasn't quite close enough and managed to shunt us...!!! What a dickhead..!!! Can you imagine that insurance form...!!! There was no damage done.

France here we come.

New Year

So 2012 well under way, January coming to an end already....!!

So with Christmas all done and all members of the crew finished with pantomimes and Christmas shows, it was a time to take stock and head into the new year.

FunFear have had a great start to 2012 and have already completed several projects including the Caterham and Whytleafe round table charity ball, a great evening and proceeds this year going to the Nspcc and childline, a very worthy cause and I will let everyone know the amount that was raised on the evening.

So although Christmas officially over.......FunFear are off on a road trip again...!
We are off to Frankfurt to visit the christmasworld show.....new ideas coming for Christmas 2012 but that will be revealed at a much later stage, another first for the uk..!!

I will let you know how we get on in the next few days, maybe some pictures of the FunFear clown in Germany..!

London Dungeons

Well so great after show party on Saturday night, followed by the continued removal of equipment from the rain sodden ground and trees. I felt a day off was required, well today was that day and we trotted into London to visit the famous London Dungeons. As it has been many years since my last visit I was expecting some changes..! Well I must say it was a pleasure, good actors, staff in very good spirits and overall a great experience. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the use of some simple techniques and modern technology in the same space. Well worth a visit for anyone who has not been for some time, and I will certainly revisit before my merlin pass runs out.

All over...except the rip out.!!

Well another season draws to a close, i hope all who have attended our flagship event at Tulleys Farm Shocktober Fest have enjoyed it, it has been an excellent run and a special thanks to all the members of FunFear this year. We have an excellent team and it shows, through rain, wind and of course the vast quantities of mud..!! relentless effort and teamwork. Thanks again.
So tomorrow starts the process of ripping the kit out of the temporary attractions and ensuring all hire equipment is returned, so no rest for the wicked.

So whats next..?? Well fireworks next Saturday, a small after show party and then preparation for a trip to Philadelphia for the Legendary Haunt Tour.

Once again, many thanks to all those who attended and the production crew.
